Ways to Help

Whether you prefer to donate your time, talents or resources, there are a number of excellent ways to show your support to The Salvation Army.

Planned Giving allows you to enhance your financial gifts by taking advantage of tax benefits. Multiple options are available that provide positive financial rewards to you and your loved ones.

Motorized vehicles, gently used clothing and furniture are always welcome. Your donation will be used to help rehabilitate men and women in our Adult Rehabilitation Centers and will result in a tax deduction in accordance with IRS rules. These donations are handled through The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers.

Many companies and organizations provide matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. The impact of your gift to The Salvation Army may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies also match gifts made by retirees or directors.

Volunteers from all walks of life are the backbone of The Salvation Army. Their time and commitment are essential to the success of the organization and enhance the effectiveness of Army programs and services.
