Great Lakes Ministries

Great Lakes Ministries is made up of Salvation Army Musicians, from Western Michigan/Northern Indiana, that have a desire to further thier musical skills and ministry beyond thier Corps music involvement.

Great Lakes Brass
Great Lakes Brass members must:
  • Be a Uniform wearing Salvationist

  • Attend a Salvation Army Corps
  • Be involved in the Salvation Army music program at their church if available
  • Have played a brass instrument for at least 3 years
  • Attend Rehearsals
  • Attend Performances


Great Lakes Chorus

Great Lakes Chorus members must:

  • Be a Uniform wearing Salvationist
  • Attend a Salvation Army Corps
  • Be involved in the Salvation Army choir program at thier corps if available.
  • Attend Rehearsals
  • Attend Performances


Great Lakes Drama

Great Lakes Drama members must:

  • Be a Uniform wearing Salvationist
  • Be in Great Lakes Brass and/or Chorus
  • Attend a Salvation Army Corps
  • Be involved in the Salvation Army drama program at thier corps if available.
  • Attend Rehearsals
  • Attend Performances

In addition to WMNI Divisional events, Great Lakes Ministries attempts special projects or trips every spring.

2002—–Indianapolis 500 parade

2003—–Joint Concert with the Port Huron youth Band

2004—–Merrilville, In. for The Salvation Army Congress and Commissioning

2005—–Produce Great Lakes Ministries CD!

2006—–Traverse City, MI

2007—–Great Lakes Ministries CD (Coming Soon)
