Star Wars Stormtroopers Invade Woodland to Ring Bells for The Salvation Army
On December 1st, the Imperial Stormtroopers, Darth Vader and Tusken Raiders from The Great Lakes Garrison, showed their support for the Salvation Army by ringing bells at Woodland mall. The Star Wars’ characters were stationed at the interior entrances of Macy’s, JC Penney and Sears between 2:00- 4:00 p.m. for all holiday shoppers to see. For the second year in a row, it was a great opportunity for kids of all ages to have fun and to support The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign at the same time. All donations support the many programs provided by the Salvation Army during this holiday season and throughout the year.
