TAG Luncheon Enriches Young Professionals

67 attendees filled the fourth floor of The B.O.B. on Friday, Nov. 2nd for a sold-out Young Professionals Luncheon with The Salvation Army Action Group.  The theme of the luncheon was “Enriching Yourself and Your Community” and encouraged young people to volunteer. The event was available to attendees at no charge, with a suggested donation of a personal needs item.

A handful of guest speakers were featured at the event and addressed the audience through personal, detailed accounts of what volunteering meant to them and how its impacted their lives.   The Salvation Army Action Group collected over $140 and 558 items, including toilet paper, hand soap, body soap, shampoo, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes, tissue, hairspray and razors.  The end result – a success!
