The Salvation Army Honors 9-11
On the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, The Salvation Army partnered with the Boy Scouts and the Gerald Ford Museum in Grand Rapids to commemorate the solemn event. Throughout the day, guest speakers addressed the crowd, and Boy Scouts held a salute in memory of the victims of 9-11. In the evening, The Salvation Army brass band played and Major Bob Mueller shared a short, but inspiring presentation of his experiences at Ground Zero.
