Camp Work Day
This past Saturday, May 5, 65 volunteers from 6 Western Michigan & Northern Indiana Divisional Corps and South Bend’s ARC participated in a Camp Work Day at The Salvation Army’s Little Pine Island Camp in Comstock Park, Michigan. The volunteers worked hard to clean up the entrance way and around cabins as well as clear away dead trees and leaves. Continuing on with the spirit of cleaning for a cause, the volunteers cleaned up timbers, the lodge, the campfire area, and the pathway to council, just to name a few. Working non-stop from 9-3, these eager volunteers received a well-deserved hot dog lunch and endless amounts of respect. The sacrificed Saturday and extraordinary efforts from these volunteers this weekend will forever be appreciated!
