Bimbo Bakers Help Out at Little Pine Island Camp
This past Monday, seventeen employees from Bimbo Bakeries USA visited The Salvation Army\’s Little Pine Island Camp in Comstock Park, Michigan. These amazing volunteers painted picnic tables as well as helped with yard work and general camp clean-up for four hours. The work they did significantly helped the camp get ready for a busy summer. Little Pine Island Camp is a camp and retreat ministry owned and operated by The Salvation Army since 1926. Since its beginning, Little Pine Island Camp has ministered to the mind, body and spirit of thousands of campers. Camp Director Curtis Britcher was at camp on Monday to oversee and help the volunteers. Britcher was overwhelmed by the amount of work and effort the volunteers put into the camp and very thankful for all the improvements that were made. Thank you Bimbo Bakeries USA!
